The Breath Alcohol Technician Training course is another example of TraCorp converting a PowerPoint-based classroom course to online learning with delivery through the TraCorp LMS. The courseware was created in Articulate with source files given to the Lifeloc for long term maintenance. Teaming with TraCorp resulted in a professionally developed course that is easily updated by the customer.
Phoenix Children’s Hospital teamed with TraCorp to create a children’s bike safety program funded by a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and the Bikes Belong Coalition. Called “Bicycle Driver’s Ed,” the course’s goal is to reduce head traumas in children. Bicycle Driver’s Ed creates a fun and engaging learning environment that motivates children to complete the course and earn a Bicycle Driver’s License. The course includes a teacher’s Online Training Guide that meets state education standards for classroom use.
Students follow Maria, a mentor, to learn the importance of leadership skills and how attitude impacts others, as well as the company. The course uses interactive exercises to walk students through the leadership characteristics needed to be successful in their careers. The course was developed in HTML5 for online and mobile delivery.
Pedestrian Safety is the second course in a series designed and accredited for Arizona school children. Kids interact with a game environment to make safe route decisions between home, school, the mall and other locations. As with popular video games, a wrong decision means you get run over. The course is available in both English and Spanish and as a self-running version for outlets such as doctors' offices.
